National Computer Security Day 2022

 The session on  “National Computer Security day “ started by lectures by faculty of Computer science to the 1st years B.Sc. students where few basic security settings were practically demonstrated to let them stay safe online during their regular use of the internet. Followed by presentations by students where even they have come up to share their knowledge on security concepts like firewalls password settings etc.

Outcome: The group benefited by learning the key to stay safe on social media and to make themselves aware not to fall prey to various phishing  and fraudulent activities .

  First Year Students of MSc Mathematics with Computer Science, BSc FSCCA were exposed to canvas app for creating articles for our clubs upcoming magazine.  It was amazing to see them create appealing posters in no time. This one titled: Maths Concepts used  in Computer Science was one of best.

75th ID Week

To mark 75th Independence Day week ,s tudents across all the streams and years were asked to code in their learnt programming language to generate Indian national Flag to mark 75th Independence week . This helped students get creative and at the same time explore the language they are working on. This was done during the second week of august in all the lab sessions. Outcome: Students got to explore programming concepts(usage of libraries ,packages) of various languages .
