National Technology Day 2023

  Students of  M.Sc computer science had an online event to commemorate technology day,where they were taught canva tool .This will help them in working on academic assignments as well as to promote the self owned small scale business too.This demo session was followed b group discuss on perks of technology . All of them shared their views on being grateful to all these new technologies which are making their lives easy.Few of them have also mentioned  about how it is affecting the users , keeping aside the efforts of the inventors.Overall it was a very interactive session .

Outcome:Students had a good time seeing beautiful posters being created using canva .They were excited to explore the new skill they have learnt.Also from group discussion, they seemed   grateful to new technology inventions which  makes their lives easy.

Poster Making on Earth Day

22nd April 2022   The students of B.Sc. II and III Year under the guidance of Commit club participated in the POSTER MAKING activity to commemorate Earth day. The theme for earth day celebrations this time was : How Technology is saving earth . The students were made into teams and were asked to make the poster according to the concerned topic. There were four teams and the topics chosen by the teams for making the posters are as follows: Usage of Digital devices for storing information instead of paper, this reduces deforestation. Renewable energy Saving endangered wildlife by smart collars, gene sequencing etc. Usage of menstrual cups instead of sanitary napkins, as it reduces the use of plastic.       The activity commenced by the students walking around the college campus holding their posters and talking to as many students as they could to take action for the protection of mother Earth by explaining its pros and cons.
